Nine and a half hours

In a fit of excitement, Ian & Simon share their musings on Tuesday's (November 10th) Full Council Meeting at which, amongst others; Portsmouth City Council reporting it needs help from central government to provide the right level of care to unaccompanied minors seeking asylum at the Port. Next hot topic - UBI - why spend over an hour discussing something that's 'never going to happen'. The third issue was a rather unharmonious debate on a subject the whole council agrees on - the Aquind interconnector project. Free School meals also get the old PCC to shake out. Is it political grandstanding or is it just panto season come early? We tempt you to come back next week when we cover the last of our big four - asking the council to stop doing something they haven't started doing (fining people for being homeless). Exciting stuff..
